Mr President

Mr President is a collection of marble coffee tables with wooden bases for the living room, proposed in different sizes with a round, oval, square or shaped rectangular top.
Designed by Adriano Castiglioni for Bodema, the elements of this collection are an example of the formal refinement that distinguishes Made in Italy furniture, representing a structurally innovative solution that differs from similar traditional accessories. The classic support legs are replaced by a pair of perpendicularly intersected base pieces which, together with the top, create an eye-catching play of crossed shapes to emphasise the three-dimensionality of the table. A circular plate placed at the end of the base ensures stability and increases the solidity of the entire structure. The round, oval, square or rectangular shaped top completes the combination of forms, providing a convenient support surface in the area in front of the sofa.
In the range of finishes selected to furnish spaces with high aesthetic value, marble stands out for its exclusive shades, as well as polished oak which creates a pleasant chromatic contrast with the black lacquered wood base. By opting for the colours of the entire RAL scale, however, it is possible to achieve precise combinations with other furnishings already present in the living room.
Modern and sculptural, the Mr President coffee table collection goes beyond the mere practical function, offering a series of statuary complements which become the protagonists in an elegant living room. To create an environment that is coordinated down to the smallest details, the sofa and console table of the same name complete a living room where shapes, volumes and finishes are united by a single common thread.
